I fell in love with this house in upstate New York. I loved its white wood, the splash of yellow and the glorious light. I loved the flag, the foliage and the clear sky. I felt free, far from home, in a land of vastness. From inside came the faint sound of classical music, and the sweet scent of baking and coffee. A place of peach pie and sweetness. This lovely, bright work is full of summer warmth and is a perfect addition to a collection, a wonderful gift. The canvas is 0.4 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
