As dusk’s rosy fingers touch the sky, I wander alone on the main street of a Swiss village, the air redolent of hay, cut grass, the scent of mountain flowers perhaps and the sound of a distant herd of goats. I love the way the colours fade into a rosy darkness, with patches of sunlit paintwork holding on a little longer. The work is a lovely gift, a great souvenir of Switzerland.
Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
