One of the most prized views of the Tower, from an abruptly cut off road near the Trocadero. It is a popular spot for social media photos and selfies, and who can blame them? From here the Tower seems small, pocket-sized perhaps, the magic of optical illusion. The sky is warm, blue, wide, and the summer is here with its promise of freedom. The sandstone turns golden, the trees bloom with yellow and green hues. The whole of Paris stretches at my feet. The work is rich in colour and in detail, it radiates heat and light.
