Fishing Authority Buildings

I recently became fascinated by the fishing industry heritage of Hull. I have several paintings that celebrate this past, and this is my most recent. My passion for the subject was whetted  anew after reading Brian Lavery’s account of the Headscarf Revolution. http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Headscarf-Revolutionaries-Triple-Trawler-Disaster/dp/1909954144. A few years ago I wondered around the area, all overgrown. The original painting can be purchased at https://www.artfinder.com/product/hull-fishing-authority-building/ Other works in the series include views of the Lord Line building, now also derelict.
